The main reason behind Byakuya’s staggering cost is undoubtedly those exquisite white truffles ($15,200 per kg). Additionally, the uniquely packaged ice cream comes with white truffle oil and a specially handcrafted metal spoon inspired by Kyoto’s temples and shrines – giving customers more than just a fancy gelato to remember.
For the perfect serving, Cellato advises you to first mix the white truffle oil into the dessert until it reaches a desired creamy consistency. If needed, you can use a microwave (blasphemous, we know) for 10 to 20 seconds to soften it further.
